MEDISAVE CLAIMS FOR DENTAL PROCEDURES
WHAT CAN MEDISAVE BE USED FOR?
Eligible Dental Treatments
Our Medisave funds can be used for a range of surgical dental treatments at AllSmiles Dental, including:
Dental Implants: A surgical procedure to replace missing teeth.
Wisdom Tooth Surgery: The removal of impacted or problematic wisdom teeth.
Surgical Removal of Retained Roots or Fractured Teeth: Procedures to extract teeth fragments or roots left within the gum line.
Gum Surgery (Frenectomy): Surgery to remove or adjust the frenulum within the mouth, which can improve dental health and function.
Non-Eligible Dental Treatments
It's important to note that Medisave cannot be used for non-surgical, cosmetic, or aesthetic dental treatments. These include:
Tooth extractions that do not require surgery.
Non-surgical root canal treatments.
Orthodontic treatments, such as braces or Invisalign.
Prosthetic dentistry, including dental crowns, bridges, and dentures.
HOW MUCH MEDISAVE CAN I USE FOR DENTAL PROCEDURES?
The amount you can claim from Medisave for dental surgeries depends on the surgery type, identified by special codes. After your surgery, your dentist will let you know how much you can claim, using guidelines from the Ministry of Health.
